Life often moves in waves — moments of calm and stability are often followed by challenges that test our patience, strength, and understanding of ourselves. While we may not always be able to control what life brings, we can learn to navigate it with awareness, resilience, and emotional balance. This belief forms the foundation of my work as a therapist.

I am Varisha Qureshi, M.Phil. Clinical Psychology (RCI Licensed) — a Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist offering online therapy sessions to individuals seeking emotional clarity, healing, and personal growth.

My professional journey is rooted in the idea that every individual carries within them the potential to heal, evolve, and create meaningful change. In therapy, I strive to create a safe, empathetic, and confidential environment where clients can share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences openly — without fear of judgment. I believe that when people feel truly heard and understood, transformation begins naturally.

Through my work, I aim to help clients build a deeper connection with themselves, develop emotional awareness, and learn tools that allow them to manage stress, anxiety, and life transitions more effectively. My academic research explored the psychological impact of global uncertainty, with a focus on how gender influences emotional experiences. My study, titled "A Comparative Study of the Level of Anxiety in Gender Difference About Career During COVID-19," was published in the Towards Gender Equality journal, edited by Dr. Suman Swati.

Over the years, I have worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds and age groups, helping them cope with a wide range of emotional and psychological concerns — including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, self-esteem issues, and emotional regulation. My clinical experience has strengthened my understanding of how deeply individual experiences and social environments shape our mental health.

I view therapy as a shared process of reflection and growth — a space where individuals can pause, understand themselves better, and move forward with greater clarity. My approach is grounded in empathy, active listening, and evidence-based psychological practices.
